Our Story
Meet our Founder
Our founder and CEO, Memory Ndlovu, is not just a leader but an inspiration. With a background as a qualified Healthcare Worker and a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, Memory’s journey from a small village in Zimbabwe to the bustling streets of Dublin is a testament to resilience and determination. Her story fuels our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Memory was born and raised in the small village of Kapane, in the town of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. She got married when she was only 15 and had her firstborn, Ntobeko, at the age of 16. Her second born, Bongiwe, was born a few years later. Back then, she worked for her husband on a farm, shepherding cattle. In her spare time, she would do hair braiding for the women in her town.
After years of struggling in a polygamous marriage, Memory managed to escape Zimbabwe with the help of a missionary who told her about Ireland. In 2017, she arrived in Dublin as an asylum seeker and thus began her unexpected journey.
Here she found a new love, had her third baby, Thubelihle, and also a new passion: caring for people as a career.
“I decided to transform my passion into a business, connecting a network of people who are willing to walk the extra mile to be the support for those who need it”. And that is how the BHC Agency was born.
